The two words are quite different in English.
"Evacuate" means that someone or something is FORCED to exit a place. For example, if there is a fire in a building, everyone will have to "evacuate." This means that everyone will have to leave the building. In science, we also use the word "evacuate" to describe a process where everything inside of a container is forced or pushed out (so that the container is completely empty). When you "evacuate" something, it is totally empty, with nothing left inside.
"Deplete" means that the amount of something is decreased, usually because it has been used. If your water supply is "depleted," it means that too much water has been used or lost, and you do not have very much water left. If you "deplete" your resources, it means you use up your resources until you don't have enough left. When something is "depleted," it may not be totally empty. It may simply have a lower amount than it should have, because too much has been used or removed.
"Evacuate" is most often used to describe people leaving a building due to an emergency. "Deplete" almost never refers to people. It's used to describe substances or materials that can be used up.
