I went to a hot spring facility with my friend today. To enter the facility, an elevator is the only way to the entrance. Customers need to get on the elevator from the second floor. Customers getting on that from the B1 and first floor have to get off once and be in the last of line. The rule isn’t announced clearly and looks complicated. Actually there are foreigners from the downstairs on the elevator just before my getting on and they didn’t get off. A facility staff couldn’t persuade them and turned a blind eye on. If I understood the rule, I would help the staff. If I’m in the same situation, I’ll say as below. Is that polite way? If you know more polite and shorter way to explain, could you please let me know?
“Customers who are getting on the elevator from the downstairs need to get off at the second floor once. Would you mind getting off and going to the last of line, please?”
