Hi friends, does “be kin to “ have other meanings expect for “related “? I heard a sentence from radio : “I am kin to take responsibilities.” I think it means I am willing to take responsibilities, but I cannot find this meaning in the dictionary. Thanks!

The correct spelling to the word is keen, the kin you mentioned is indeed someone a person is related to. To be keen is to be interested in or eager to do something.

Yes, you’re right. I think this is an informal expression which is why you cannot find it in the dictionary.
