Hello friends, a question for native English speakers, in the Rhiana song "Pon de replay", are the words "Pon" and "de" some English slangs? specially "Pon" has a meaning in Spanish, so I´m confused if this is pure English common words or a combination of Spanish or what.
Thank you!

It is Bajan Creole, the local language of Barbados, in the Caribbean...
"pon de replay" = 'upon the replay' = 'put the song on again' (replay the song).
She is asking the DJ to play the song again.
