Who am I
I just read this lightning safety poster where under lightning, this personified smiling light rods says: “ Take it from me, Linda the Lightning Rod!”
Because of the smile, I felt like she’s more likely saying it to mean “Trust what I share with you on this poster.” But somehow in my mind I can’t help visualizing a lightning rod is fighting with lightning monster saying “Take this/that from me! “
So basically I want to ask:
If it were an attack, in addition to changing the rod’s face into a frowning one in front of lightning, how would she say it:
A. Take this from me!
B. Take that from me!
C. Neither, she would say: (fill in the blank)
Thanks!
I don’t know why but after reading it I kept visualizing them fighting. It must be some sort of memory mismatch so I’m trying to figure out she would say “ take” what, so I don’t confuse it with “take it from me”

You can say it either way, have fun with it!
“Take this! Take that! And THIS!”
Take it from me is a common expression meaning, “This is my advice, please listen”

Since it is a lightning rod, it might say "beware, I strike". We use the verb "strike" for lightning.

Well, I tend to go for “Take that!” Or “Take that from me! “ now.
