Hi please help. She is more intelligent than her brother. She is even more intelligent than her brother. What's the difference? Thanks in advance

In the first, her brother may not be intelligent at all. In the second, her brother is very intelligent. Even emphasises that she is extremely intelligent because she is more intelligent than someone very intelligent.
