We only have one month left this year. I had to do a double take when I saw my calendar. Time has flown by. At this rate, 2024 will be here before you know it.
I focus on the go-green movement these days. Especially, I'm into "The Next Generation Vehicle" related article. Because I will most likely have to drive when they are put to commercial use in the future.
As for Electric Vehicle(=EV), there are some different kinds of batteries. One is a "lithium ion battery" that uses "nickel", "manganese" and "cobalt"(=NMC) as a cathode material. It has high performance but is burnable and the cycle number of discharge and charge is about 700. Another is a "phosphoric acid ion battery" that uses iron based material called "phosphoric acid iron"(=LFP) as a cathode material. It is non-burnable and the cycle number is over 3000. It is also affordable. Unfortunately, it has been said that LPE has low performance compared with NMC. However, many companies have developed new technology about LPE and LPE has a competitive performance against NMC now. Therefore, LPE has recently been applied to EV in car makers such as BYD, Mercedes and Toyota. LPE still has a problem that it takes a long hours to charge car's battery. On the other hand, it is said "Solid-state battery", which has no liquid electrolyte and is entirely solid, can crack this issue. Unfortunately, it is very pricey right now, but is expected to be spreading around 2040.

I have been focusing on the go-green movement these days. Especially, I'm into "The Next
Generation Vehicle" related articles. Because I will most likely have to drive
when they are put to commercial use in the future. As for Electric Vehicles(EVs),
there are different kinds of battery technology used. One is a "lithium ion battery" that
uses "nickel", "manganese" and "cobalt"(NMC) as a cathode material. It has high
performance but is combustible and has an average lifespan of about 700 charge cycles. Another battery type is a "phosphoric acid ion battery" that uses an iron based
material called "phosphoric acid iron"(LFP) as a cathode material. It is
non-combustible and has a much higher lifespan of over 3000 charge cycles. It is also affordable.
Unfortunately, it has been said that LPE has a lower performance compared with NMC.
However, many companies have developed new technologies for LPE, thus LPE now has a more
competitive performance against NMC. Therefore, LPE has recently been
applied to EVs by car makers such as BYD, Mercedes and Toyota. LPE still has a
problem that it takes a many hours to charge a car's battery. On the other hand,
it is said that "Solid-state batteries," which have no liquid electrolyte and are
entirely solid can overcome this issue. Unfortunately, it is very pricey right
now, but is expected to be more widespread around 2040.
Your English is very good. You don't have to put an "=" sign before the acronyms.
