The Tim じぁん!!!
It’s drizzly and chilly today. The weather has been so capricious lately, and it’s made me feel drowsy and sickly. My blood test results just came out, and it turns out I’m not only allergic to dust but also to cats and dogs. This is a real shock. I’ve grown up with my cat, what the heck is going on here! It feels like I were allergic to my pillow, given the fact that I often slept on my cat’s back when I was very young. No matter what, I’m not giving away my cat. There has to be a way around this. I think my doctor might have a solution. I’m going to see her next week to discuss it. Maybe there are a few injections that can help me get rid of this terrible allergy.

That’s a shame. Hope it works out.

It’s drizzly and chilly today. The weather has been so capricious lately, and it’s made me feel drowsy and sickly. My blood test results just came back, and it turns out I’m not only allergic to dust but also to cats and dogs. This is a real shock. I’ve grown up with my cat—what the heck is going on here? It feels as if I were allergic to my pillow, considering that I often slept on my cat’s back when I was very young. No matter what, I’m not giving away my cat. There has to be a way around this. I think my doctor might have a solution. I’m going to see her next week to discuss it. Maybe there are some injections that can help me get rid of this terrible allergy.
1. “My blood test results just came out” → “My blood test results just came back”
• “Came back” is more natural in this context when referring to the results of a test.
2. “what the heck is going on here!” → “what the heck is going on here?”
• The exclamation mark should be changed to a question mark since it’s phrased as a question.
3. “It feels like I were allergic” → “It feels as if I were allergic”
• “As if” is more standard than “like” in this formal construction.
4. “given the fact that I often slept” → “considering that I often slept”
• “Considering” flows better and is more concise than “given the fact that.”
5. “a few injections” → “some injections”
• “Some” is a more natural choice than “a few” in this case, making the sentence sound smoother.
