Hysterically funny (to U.S. native speakers, anyway).
Downton Abbey is a British drama series about an aristocratic family, set in the early 1900s. Naturally, the actors speak, not merely with British accents, but with upper-class British accents of that period.
Talk-show host Steven Colbert asked three actors from the show to read a real scene from the show, but to read it in using a modern U.S. accent instead of a British accent. (In my personal opinion, they did a good job).
