"Sitting on a pineapple" means?

I read a article and I looked a sentence which is "You sound like you're sitting on a pineapple" but I don't understand what does it mean.

What does "sitting on a pineapple" means?
what happens with your sound when you're sitting a pineapple?

Sitting on a pineapple which is real fruit?

Could you explain it to me?

Thank you!

The pineapple is delicious inside, but hard, rough and prickly outside. If you you try to sit down on it, I think you will get the answer to your questiuon.

It might be an idiomatic phrase. Igor is there in Russian analogy to that about pine apple? In Polish we have "to sit on pins - siedzieć jak na szpilkach"
