What is the meaning of the word "masa" in these sentences?

I know that "masa" can mean "period", "time", "age", etc., but I am having a hard time understanding what it means in the following sentences (these are sentences from a free online language course):

Masa Ibu Meriam sudah pindah ke kota Padangpanjang.

Rupanya pesawat dari New York belum tiba. Masa mungkin!

Masa rusak lampu itu! Saya beli dua hari yang lalu.

You can use "saat". The "period" word mean about a amount of time. "Saat ibu mariam pergi ke padang panjang".

Word "Masa Mungkin!" and "Masa rusak lampu itu"  is wrong. You can use "Mana mungkin!" = "realy?"

I Hope my coment  can help you :) my english is bad. :(

Masa has another meaning besides time period. In this case masa is a word that we use to express disbelief, so I would translate it as REALLY? or How can it be that.....   For example if the food you ordered took so long to come out of the kitchen then you can say Masa begini lama (I can't believe it takes this long), and if the bill is very expensive you can say Masa begitu mahal? (Really? That expensive?). If you actually want to know why, then you would use Mengapa or Kenapa begini lama?  (How come/why it takes this long) Kenapa/Mengapa begitu mahal (Why is it that expensive?). If you want to soften your question, then you would add YAH at the end: Kenapa begini lama yah? Or Mengapa begitu mahal yah?

Masa sih?= Yang bener? (Is it true? Really?).
