Face - is it 'rostro' or 'cara'? :/
Hi, I've noticed that you have at least two words for 'face' in Spanish, 'rostro' or 'cara'.
Are they completely or mostly interchangeable, or do their uses depend upon register or region?

I agree with David, they are completely synonymous. Maybe "rostro" is more sophisticated and fancy than "cara". But they mean the same.

In my opinion, "cara" is more common than "rostro".
In spanish we only use "rostro" in particular cases.
