Well, I don't really judge people by the way they look, but talking about the actual quote, book covers are there with the intention to be judged which is why I don't really like the quote itself.
That aside, just like the Slavic one said, try not to judge people by the way they look. Looks in this case are deceiving.

Well, I think it's a well known sentence . I myself don't like to judge people with their appeariece but unfortunately it happens and I think sit takes time to change people attitude

I think it is a good sentence.
Teaches a good lesson. It is ok when we apreciate the beauty and exterior of a person or a thing, but it doesn't mean we can't apreciate the discover of the interior of both.
