Professionele leerkracht"I will never be complete"
This is a quote from Fight Club. Is it correct grammar? I am curious.
What about?
"..will never be completed" , or do we only use this structure for projects or buildings; for example, this building will never be completed.

Well I think those 2 things are different.
1) I will never be complete (as a person) without you, if you break up with me now.
2) I am a robot, and my creator is trying to assemble me by Labor Day. At the rate that he is working, I will never be completed.

In this case, I think, "complete" is not used as a verb, but an adjective.

"I will never be complete"
In this case, complete acts as an adjective.
"Having every necessary or normal part or component or step"

It sounds totally normal to me. I’ve heard this expression many, many times before. Completed would be totally wrong.
