This is one of the 동음이의어 (同音異意語) Homonym.
사과 (Sa-gwua) means an "Apple". So we can say:
- 사과가 참 맛있다 Apple is delicious
- 아침 사과는 건강에 좋다 Eating an apple in the morning is good for your health
But there is another 사과 meaning "Apology".
So we can say:
- 내가 사과할께 I apologize
So, there is a funny or cute way to apologize to someone. It's to say "내 사과를 받아줘 (Please accept my apology)" with giving "an apple" together.
So, it can literally mean "Please accept my apology" or "Please accept my apple" and it actually means "Please accept my apology and the apple as a simbol of my apology".
