Sometimes, if there's a word or two I really want to remember and I'm having trouble with them, I make up a silly poem or a bit of a ridiculous song that I repeat to myself in place of my usual even more ridiculous worry patterns. If the song has gestures to go with it, like in children's songs, or if I make myself laugh, even better. Then I have a physical hook that helps link me back to the word. The more hooks in we have, the stronger the memory.  

Thanks, Sheila! I didn't try to create silly poems or songs. ) I even can not emagine it. But it sounds interesting. I tryed use this method with assosiations and it not always works, I forget words with even silly assosiations. Maybe I need to sing them... In the shower. )
