What does the term "double period" mean?
Hey guys, I was wandering how do you understand this phrase? Because I think that it's a lesson which lasts for an hour and a half, am I right?

If a 'single' lesson lasts 45 minutes then yes, that would be a a 90 minute lesson. A 'period' in this case is one lesson, if you have two in a row, that's a double period

In informal use, yes. Otherwise it's two consecutive periods.
