"und dann schickt es mich in den April": Lyrics to understand
"es beschleicht mich wieder das Gefühl
fragt mich leise was ich wirklich will
und dann schickt es mich in den April und sagt "ha’m wir nicht da!"

I am trying to understand the whole sense of this song by Annett Louisan, and also the meaning of the individual words and ideas. I don't understand the reference to April here. Is there a German idiom about "sending you to April", or something like that? Or perhaps the use of "April" is just a metaphor to indicate how a feeling can take hold of you, suddenly send you a very different place (=April) and then disappoint you?
Any ideas appreciated and thank you for reading this in English. Feel free to answer in German or English.
