There are many words are that have similar pronunciation between Farsi and English.

I want to introduce some of these words:

Better (بِهتَر), Saffron(زَعفِران), Door (دَر), Brother (بَرادَر), Mother(مادَر), Daughter (دُختر), Name (نام), Lemon (لیمو) and so on.

Also, there are some words that exactly have the same sounding, like these:

Khaki (خاکی), Bazaar (بازار), Bad (بَد) and some of the other words.

Thanks Mahdi for this discussion, except of English there are some similar words in Persian and Russian such as:

стакан (istekan) in Persian استکان and the next word is самовар (samavar) in Persian سماور

and чемодан (chamedan) in Persian چمدان

that is because both english and Persian are Indo -European languages and they have the same origin especially you can find many english words in Lori
