Etymological dictionaries of Russian
Are there any online Russian etymological dictionaries? Either specialized ones or some with definition plus the etymologies, detailed or brief, for virtually every word.

Please give some if you know. Thank you very much. ( I know Wikitionary already).

In fact, there are hundreds of such dictionaries. But there are not many of them in electronic form. You can use Wiktionary because this dictionary is based on serious scientific dictionaries.

The most famous etymological dictionary that you can find on the Internet in electronic form is the dictionary 'Макс Фасмер. Этимологический словарь русского языка'. There's also an iPad app 'Dict А-Я для iPad. Russian Dictionary. Толковый словарь'.

The book "Roots of the Russian language" is the only etymological book I have found. https://books.google.com.au/books/about/Roots_of_the_Russian_Language.html?id=DZxoQgAACAAJ&redir_esc=y

Sometimes available for free, but I've lost the link for now.
