I find a Russian word блаженство ( blazhenstvo) - which means "bliss" - quite charming.

The Tatar word азатлык (freedom) and Mongolian төмөр (iron) sound beautiful to me.

"Nul n'est prophète en son pays" which means "No one is prophet in his own country"
In short, it is harder to be recognised by your own kind or by people you would think are closer to you.
