I need your help with Connected speech, linking of sound in Korean
Hello everyone, I'm a very beginner in the journey of learning this new language - Korean.

I have got started with Hangul "alphabet" and learnt how to pronounce for a couple of days. In my English learning experience, I'm already familiar with the concept of connect the ending consonant of the first "word" with the beginning vowel of the second "word" or so. However, I'm struggling with this concept in Korean.

From what I've learnt so far, Korean language pronunciation focuses on every single "syllable", not "word". I'd like to take an example to make clear my inquiry:

책을 would be pronounced as 채글 /chae- geul/ , NOT 책글 /chaeg-geul/

Is the concept that: in Korean, we "move" the ending consonant into next syllable (if the next syllable starts with a vowel) while in English, we "connect" the ending consonant with the beginning vowel.

I've watched a lot of youtube videos to figure it out by observing the speaker's motion of mouth. However, sometime I see they "connect", sometime I see they "move".
I appreciate any help or idea from you guys.
Thank you very much.
