I rarely eat fast-food now. I used to like it when I was small but now I know that it's not good for our health, so... Why not switch to healthier food? :-)

What IS fast food anyway?

I think the real question asked is ...  time versus food quality versus cost - how would you choose?
Franchises use (for consistency) mass-produced ingredients which potentially have lower food quality but it saves preparation time, getting you your meal faster and cheaper. 
An event I went to once had animals slaughtered on the grounds and prepared into a meal which took all morning to cook and probably cost a fortune. It didn't get any fresher than that, let me tell you.

Assuming money was tight, I would push for the highest possible food quality while keeping the costs down. Most likely this would mean spending time in the kitchen to make home cooked meals with goods bought at cheaper local markets.
If cost wasn't an issue, I would push for highest quality with the shortest time :D Caviar, baby!!

no, it's unhealthy

Breaky for this morning was fast food: sausage and egg with coffee. It was not too bad. I tried not to eat to much of them, but honestly fast food was always the first thing coming to my mind when I felt lazy to cook
