Do you think this is a good idea? 【My opinion】 Yes,I think it is a good idea that more and more companies offer to work from home. I have two reasons. First of all, workers can reduce time spent commuting to the office. Some workers have to spend a long time getting to their office/workplace. If the workers could work at home, they could save the time. (i don't think this sentence was incorrect, but COULD is probably better for the conditional) Secondly, workers could spend time on a hobby and time with their families. It would be a good thing for them to reduce stress from work. For the reasons that I mentioned working at home is good idea.

BUT BEWARE you need to watch you use of the word to....The phrase 'companies offer to work from home ' is not appropriate for the context the best word to use is as already suggested 'the option to work from home' or 'the option for employees to work at home'
