Why should we pass Cet-6? Today is a mass because many Chinese university students get involved into the same exam, CET, which is an English test,almost every student should pass it, or you will not get a certificate of your university. There're two kinds of CET, CET-4 and CET-6. You should take CET-4 first,if you pass(425/750), then you can attend CET-6. I have already passed CET-6, but I need to take it again, bcz many students like me, wish that we can achieve a higher score. Maybe it is useful for us to find a better job in the near future, but who knows?Does it really work? I've no idea why we choose students who passed CET and ignore those who didn't pass. It force them to turn to jobs which may not fit for them bcz the company set up a criterion of CET score. How we judge a student should depend on the position we provide and the skills we need. I admit,English is of vital importance,but CET doesn't mean anything. Certificates doesn't mean anything. People spend time on what makes them happy but not what gives them burden.
