i am learning cantonese chinese to help me communicate with my in laws, my native language is English and i grew up UK.

自我介紹

我學緊廣東話去同外家溝通。我嘅母語係英文。我係英國長大。

Addressing family members (esp the extended family) is particularly complicated yet very important in Chinese.

You may use 外家 to address the family of your wife. However, if your wife wanna address your family, I can't think of a suitable word now. For your information

Son-in-law 女婿

Daughter-in-law 新抱

Father-in-law (if you are M) 外父

Father-in-law (if you are F) 老爺

Mother-in-law (if you are M) 外母

Mother-in-law (if you are F) 奶奶

Older Brother-in-law (if you are M) 大舅

Older Borther-in-law (if you are F) 大伯

Younger Brother-in-law (if you are M) 舅仔

Younger Brother-in-law (if you are F) 叔仔

Older Sister-in-law (if you are M) 姨媽

Older Sister-in-law (if you are F) 姑奶

Younger Sister-in-law (if you are M) 姨仔

Younger Sister-in-law (if you are F) 姑仔

If you take the kids in the the account, the list probably goes endless.

*"Older / Younger" is relative to your spouse's age, not your own age.
