My Travelling experience in Himalayas

I had visited the Himalayas, when I was 28 years old. It was a marvelous experience and basically it was a tracking (trekking?) tour between two starting points of India's two main rivers i.e. the Ganges and Yamuna. It is a completely hilly area and filled with fauna and flora of diversity (or, “a diversity of fauna and flora). I had delved (or just “delved”) into these areas for in search of an adventurous experience. The water is too chilly and it is so cold that when you dip inside it , it makes your bones shiver as shivers your bones and you feel this chillness go up to your spine. We have (or: take) a holy dip in these openings and started our tracking (trekking?) on our legs. It was about a 15 days tour inside forests and we had encounters with lots of wilde animals. Even We had seen even saw one big cat with that was only 100 meters distant. In At night we always had a camp fire abut could not remain awaked up after midnight as we had to leave our bedding by 0500 Hrs as and by 0600 hours, we had to start (our trek) again. It was really a very great experience.
