Academic IELTS Writing task 2.

Nowadays more people are choosing to live with their friends or alone rather than with their families, this trend is likely to have a negative impact on community. To what extent do you agree or disagree ?


We don’t choose our family, but we choose our friends. Both of them, family and friends, playing very important aspects in our life. Nowadays we can are often faced with this situation, when children grow up, they prefer to live with their friend or alone. Some people think that it this is a badly influence on society. I am agreeing with the statement, it has some disadvantages.
First of all, when people live without their family they can get into bad company. For example, people can choose friends which who have a bad influence on them badly. They study smoke, drink, use drugs and so on.
Secondly, when people live alone, they lose the financial support from of their family. For instance, if a student wants to get an education in university in another city, he must pay for hostel accommodation or he has to pay for rent if he live an apartment, he must pay bills and etc. Therefore, the student must study in the morning, and in the evening go to work. It is very hard even for grow-up people.
Finally, when alone man a person on their own gets taken will ill, nobody will not be there to take care about of him. For example, even when people live with friends, they won’t take care about a bedridden person such as much as family would.
In conclusion, I would like to say, when people live alone they cannot get support from family in the hard difficult moments in their life, nobody will give good advice. People must work more if they want to get a good education. Moreover, living away from family makes people feel alone and isolated. It makes people more antisocial and unsociable.
