Teachers should assign homework for students every day I agree with the claim that teachers should assign assignment for students, while are there essential for them to assign homework every day? Or another question, whether one day is enough for students to finish all the assignment or not? Actually, I stand on opposite side of this statement. Most of work, in college, such as paper or issue will cost vast number of time to finish. Checking material and reading published papers are inevitable pre-preparation for students to write an essay. Although with the help of the internet database, this preparation still costs plenty of time and energy. Furthermore, these materials also give students inspiration to write a better essay. My own experience can work as an example. I used to cost 3 weeks to get ready for my botany term paper, and two-thirds of time were spent on reading published paper, checking the internet database and communicating with my peers. All these time-consuming preparation inspire me a lot. That's why I argue that such a short time is definitely not enough for students to finish their assignments. Beside pre-preparation, students need to think critically and independently when they finish their homework, which is a time-consuming process, too. In recent day, most curricula are based on teacher-centered pattern. So the process of finishing homework becomes an important and inevitable way to give students motivation to think independently and critically. That’s why lots of time is essential for students to finish their assignments. Generally, I prefer doing the brain storm with my classmates after daily courses. Four or five times teamwork is essential to finish one assignment. I can note different ideas from my classmates and compare them with mine. Through this meaningful and complicated process, my idea will become more well-rounded and perfect. While, when we talking about assignments which used to review our daily study, teacher should assign homework for students every day. Because it's the best way to review the new knowledge, remember some new words and understand the Mathematic function. Although this claim is meaningful to most primary school students who are learn the basic knowledge, I still suggest that most of teachers should think whether or not the time is enough for students to finish the assignments through checking materials and thinking independently and critically.
