The use of "pretty"
I found that many of my foreigner friends like to use "pretty" to express “very". Maybe it means the high extent of something. For example, you are pretty right.
so i just want to confirm that is it the word always be used like this way?

"Pretty" can be use an adverb, but I wouldn't use it as a substitute for "very." "Very" emphasizes the adjective or noun, whereas "pretty" deemphasizes the adjective or noun. On a scale of one to five, a "pretty good" movie would be between a 3 and a 4 while a "very good" movie would be between a 4 and a 5 (a "good" movie would be a 4).
I also wouldn't substitute "too" for very because "too" suggests something negative. Being "too pretty" or "too fast" implies that something is wrong and you need to reduce something.
Hope this helps.

Hello(:
I'm not an expert in English, but I've heard about this expression very often, and I think
You're right. It's very common to used ''pretty'' instead of ''very'' or ''too''
I hope I've been helpful.
