The right words Today I was going to dentist. A lot of people are afraid to dentists. Especially people who at least one time had a deal with old soviet drilling machine:) It was a long time ago, these times have gone and now there is a new wonderful equipment in policlinics, but sometimes it's impossible to wipe off the memory) However, some people who were never being in Soviet policlinics are afraid of dentists as well. So today I saw one such little boy: he opened the door of the cabinet and tried to run away from his mom and a doctor. This woman was calling: "Stand still, Max!" Max ran over the corner and there run into a big man 2 meters tall (he looked like he was 30 or something like this). The boy seemed to be in a desperation and hided behind this man. The man looked at a boy from his 2 meters carefully and said: "Hey boy! Be a man! You know how I am scared? But we must to be real men, go through this and be proud of ourselfs!" A boy seemed to be perplexed a little. "Really? Are you scared too?" - he asked. The man answered: "Of course! I'm terribly scared like you! But I'm sure I can do it. And you can." Max answered "OK" - and then went to his mother who was observing this conversation. Probably this little boy heard some important words that he needed in that moment.

A lot of people are afraid of dentists. Especially those people who at least one time in their lives had to deal with old Soviet drilling instruments. However, that happened a long time ago, those times have gone and now there is a range of innovative dental equipment in polyclinics, but sometimes it's impossible to wipe off the past from our memories). Still, there are some people who never went to a Soviet Polyclinic but are afraid of dentists in these technologically advanced times. So today, when I went to the dentist I saw a little boy who was trying to run away from his mom and the doctor. His mother shouted at him "Stand still, Max!" But Max ran over the corner and there run into a big man 2 meters tall (he looked like he was 30 something). The boy seemed to be petrified with fear and so he hid behind this man. The man looked at the boy from his towering frame and said: "Hey boy! Be a man! You know how I am scared? But we must to be real men, go through this and be proud of yourself!" The boy seemed to be a little perplexed. "Really? Are you scared too?" - he asked. The man answered: "Of course! I'm terribly scared like you! But I'm sure I can do it. And you can do it too." Max answered "OK" - and then went to his mother who was observing this conversation. Probably this little boy heard some motivational words that he needed in that moment.
