Trennbare Verben

Can anybody tell me what is the Trennbare Verben? and how to use it?

"Trennbare Verben" are verbs with a prefix that must be separated from the verb when the verb is conjugated.
For example, aufstehen (to get up): ich stehe um 8 Uhr auf= I get up at eight o´clock

Some prefixes never separate from the verb, and these verbs are called "Untrennbare Verben"
For example, verstehen (to understand): ich verstehe nicht= I don´t understand.

You must memorize which prefix must be separated and which must not. If the verb is a Trennbare Verben the prefix goes to the end of the phrase when the verb is conjugated, if the verb is an Untrennbare Verben the verbal prefix remain attached to the verb.

"Trennbare Verben" are verbs extended with prefixes. With this prefix the meaning of the word can change totally, but do not need to. the verb is conjugated normally without the prefix. the prefix will be set to the end of the sentence. e.g.: infinitive: - schneiden - ab|schneiden (prefix: ab, verb: schneiden) conjugation: - Er _schneidet_ das Papier. - Er _schneidet_ die Ecke vom Papier _ab_.
