Yes, 'h' can be very difficult. Especially since the "h' is not pronounced in many cases. In this example, the letter "h' in honour and honestly is silent and not pronounced, while the letter 'h' in hand and heart is pronounced. I hope that helps!!

I have found that it is very difficult for native French speakers. I had a friend who I could never tell if she meant that she hates something or if she ate something. And that's a big difference! :)
