Sports In The Media

In my country, the media usually talks about popular and successful sportsmen and women. Nevertheless, there are lots of not so famous people that deserve to be on the papers. In this country, it´s all about football and footballers. We are bombarded with news of their lives even when they don´t have anything to do with sport.
There are other minority sports that don´t get any coverage at all, unless they achieve something important internationally. Even then,the attention only lasts a couple of days.
The saddest thing is that these sportsmen and women out of football are far more reachable than footballers are.They are able to talk to a regular person for a while without using a catchphrase. You know?
