unang pag-uusap = first conversation.  Although this is correct Tagalog, it refers to an actual conversation, which would not be right in this case because you are not involved in one.  Maybe “mga unang pangungusap” (first few sentences), which could be taken contextually to mean in your case as, “some sentences for starters”, would be the more appropriate title for you to use.   

Natuto ako ang mga salita sa Tagalog dahil gusto kong mag-usap sa Tagalog kahit ko lang na malaman ang kaunti:

Natuto ako ng mga salitang Tagalog dahil gusto kong makipag-usap sa Tagalog kahit kaunti lang ang alam/nalalaman ko.  =  I learned some Tagalog words because I would like to converse in Tagalog even if I just know a little.  (I’m not sure if that’s what you really wanted to say, but that’s how it would be if we’d retain as many words as possible from your original sentence.)

Ako ay musikera. – Tama (correct)

Nag-aral ako ng plauta sa unibersidad. = I studied flute at the university.

Nag-aaral ako ng plauta sa unibersidad. = I am studying flute at the university.

Turuan ko mga aralin ng plauta sa mga bata sa kanilang paaralan.

Tinuturuan ko ng plauta ang mga bata sa (kanilang) paaralan.  = I am teaching flute to children in (their) school.  (“Aralin ang” or “mag-aral ng” is “to study/learn something”.  You don’t really need it there as it may already be redundant to say, “I am teaching them to learn the flute”.

Nagtuturo ako ng plauta sa mga bata sa (kanilang) paaralan. = I teach flute to children in (their) school/s.  (This would be the better way to say it if what you meant was that you teach the flute as a profession.)     

GumAwa/Sumulat ako ng musika para plauta rin.   - “Gumawa” and “sumulat” are in the past tense.  “Gumagawa (making) ako ng musika...” is “I make/am making music”, while “sumusulat (writing) ako ng musika” is “I write/am writing music”.  The latter may also suggest transcribing though.  I think the word we use more often to refer to composing music is “likha” (create).  “Lumilikha ako ng musika” would be “I compose/create music”.  Be that as it may, it sounds rather formal and may be considered by some as old-fashioned.  Colloquially, we’d say, “nagko-compose ako ng musika”.

Nagko-compose/Lumilikha RIN ako ng musika para SA plauta. -  This, in my opinion, is the best way to say it.  You move the “rin” (also) closer to the word it is modifying.  It sounds better as “I also compose music for the flute” than “I compose music for the flute also”.  “Sa” is a marker than goes with “para” when you use “para” to mean “for”.  Ex: “para sa iyo” = for you; “para sa kanila” = for them; “para sa mga bata” = for the children; “para sa ikaliligaya ng lahat” = for everyone’s happiness.

Gusto kong maglakbay at matuto mga wika.  => Gusto kong maglakbay at matuto NG mga wika.  (I’d like to travel and learn languages). – “Ng” is an article that is used to point to the receiver (mga wika) of the action (matuto).  It translates to “of”.  “Matuto ng mga wika” is “to learn of languages”.  In English, you don’t need the “of” there, but in Tagalog, the “ng” is necessary.
