Doubt

Hi, I have a doubt question. Put off wants to say means the same that as put off  postpone?

The Spanish "duda" become "question" in American and British English:

Tengo una duda = I have a question.

"quiere decir" = means

"put off" =  aplazar, posponer (postpone) =>
to put off doing something = dejar algo para más tarde

Hi Pedro! Was trying to figure out what you wrote above. I know this doesn't help much but were you trying to convey the second definition of the phrase "put off" as seen in this Merriam Webster Dictionary link: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/put%20off An act of delaying, i supposed? :)
