Earthquake

Yesterday, I was watching videos on the internet about the Nepal devastation and just hours later, the National Geographic Channel was showing the last big earthquake and following tsunami that hit Japan in 2011. Watching all those videos made me indubitably remember the latest disaster in my country. I live in Chile, so we have gotten through all the calamity that the planet has put in front of us. We have to remember that the biggest earthquake that mankind has suffered happened in Chile in 1960. A 9.5 earthquake hit our lands and completely destroyed cities and left thousands homeless. Moreover, just 5 years ago, in 2010, an 8.9 earthquake hit the south of Chile again and shattered our cities. Everything that could endure that was destroyed by the tsunami just a few minutes later. After all of that, in this year alone, two volcanoes have erupted so something is going on in this part of the world.
