The past simple.
The last week I had my days off, the weather was very nice, but I didn't go out. I wanted to stay quiet, so I stayed at home.
On tuesday I went to the beach, and got to home at nine PM. I was very tired, but It was a good day. In the evening my wife and I went out for dinner to our favourite restaurant, a new Lebanese restaurant in the city centre.

On Tuesday I went to the beach and got to home at 9PM. I was very tired, but it had been a good day. In the evening my wife and I went out for dinner to our favourite restaurant, a new Lebanese restaurant in the city centre.
