Mrs. Granger When Nick went into the fifth grade, he ran into a language art teacher, Mrs. Ganger, and the second story of Frindle is regarding the teacher. Mrs. Ganger lives in an old part of town and he drives a pale blue car to school everyday. She is small; even some students in fifth grade are higher than her. But students think she likes a giant, as her eyes is full of power, and can catch everything. For example, if someone is chewing a piece of gum within fifty feet of her, Mrs. Granger will catch you and ask you to stick the gum onto a bright yellow card, and then pin the card to your cloth. You have to wear it for the rest of the day, and you also have to take it to home, asking your parents to sign on it and bring back to school to her on the next day...
