Talking about transport (1/2) I don’t travel very often so I don’t know well all the advantages and disadvantages of each mean of transport, although I can imagine some of them. For example, when travelling abroad I prefer to go by train instead of by plane because it's more comfortable and more environmentally friendly than flying. On a train, there is a lot of space for your legs, you can have a shot walk and eat something in the buffet car and you can also enjoy the scenary. Moreover, travelling by train can be very cheap and a fantastic way of making savings. I think trains are also a very social experience because it’s easy to sit with friends, chat, play games and even meet new people along the way. And yes, trains aren't so fast as planes, but that doesn’t matter if getting on the plane takes a long time because airports are usually far from the city, the flight may be cancelled or there can be delays, and you must be at the airport about two hours before the plane leaves in order to check in, go through the security and so on. Regarding to my preferred mean of transport to move around my city, I’d say my favourite one is by car, for several reasons: Firstly, because you can use it whenever you want and you can park near your destination saving time, especially if we compare it with the time it would take to you if you took the bus, for example. Secondly, because unlike most people, I find driving as a fun activity. I enjoy doing it and, as my city is a small one, it’s quite easy to avoid some of the disadvantages driving a car has, like for example getting stuck in a traffic jam or not being able to find a free parking space. And thirdly, because the public transport in my town is really bad.
