THREE METERS ABOVE THE SKY The film is based on the book by Federico Moccia. The film was directed by Fernando González. It starts Mario Casas and María Valverde. The film won three awards, tho of them for best actor and other best film. The film is set in Barcelona in the 2010. It was filmed on location in Madrid and in Barcelona. The film is about the love history of the lead actors, called Hugo and Babi. Hugo is a very agressive boy, his presence incites rejection from others, he has been fighting so survival all his life. On the contrary, the family's Babi is rich, she is very inocent and she always does that their parents said her. They meet when Hugo and his friend go into house of Babi to steal. but Hugo and Babi fell in love from the first moment they were together. Love at fist sight! At the beginning of the relationship everything were easy, but when the parents's Babi knew about the relationship of her, they aren't in agreement, because Hugo isn't who they will expect. They try to break up to relationship. I strongly recommended Three meters above the sky. It has action, drama, an unforgettable soundtrack and important message: that violence never really solves anything. The sequel I desire you is also good, but the first film is definitely my favourite.
