Long long ago, there was a man named jiang shang, nickname was jiang tai gong. befor he served the emperor zhou, he lived in a village of shaan xi wei shui, that belong to emperor zhou wen wang.
Tai gong always fishing by the brook of fan. normal person usually use hook /bait and sink the bait into water to fish, but jiang tai gong had used straight hook /no bait and three feet far away the brook's surface. he held fish pole highly and said to himself:" fish, fish, if you don't want to live, get the hook by yourself".
One day, a man who lived by collecting firewood, saw jiang tai gong was fishing with no hook and bait and so far away brook's surface, said:" Old gentlman, you'll never get fished if you fished like that". tai gong shaked the fish pole and said:" honestly, i don't want to get fish, i want to get the emperor".
Finally, the emperor zhou ji chang heard about his story. so he sent a soldier for him. tai gong ignored the soldier, said to himself:"fishing fishing, fishes don't come, the shrimp to rock the boat".
When the soldier told ji chang, ji chang sent an officer for him. tai gong ignored the officer too, said to himself:"fishing、fishing, big fish don't come, the small fish to rock the boat".
The emperor ji chang found jiang tai gong must be a talent, so he had been a vegetarian for three days, and took a shower changed clothes, brougt many gifts for him. jiang knew the emperor came here with sincerity, so he promised to work for him.
Later, jiang helped the emperor to build a new stronger and richer kingdom, and helped his son emperor wu wang, destroyed shang Dynasty, and he got a fief named qi, he achieved his dream.
