My holiday
For the two first weeks of August I'm in holiday! I'm very happy because<strike><font style="background-color: yellow;"> me</font> and</strike><font style="background-color: yellow;"> my wife</font> <font style="background-color: yellow;">and I</font> travelled to Trieste for 5 days.In <font style="background-color: yellow;"><strike>trieste</strike>Trieste</font> we walked <font style="background-color: yellow;">a lot</font> to<font style="background-color: yellow;"><strike> saw</strike></font> <font style="background-color: yellow;">visit</font> Miramare's castle, Unità's Square, San Giusto's castle and naturally barcolana. Barcolana is public beach near the center of the city and is very good for snorkeling.
When we returned <strike><font style="background-color: yellow;">at</font></strike> home <font style="background-color: yellow;">,</font>we watched films, walked a lot, visited few supermall..
So.. my question is :
Why I have to work every day and no <font style="background-color: yellow;"><strike>living</strike></font> live my life with my family like this holiday?<strike><font style="background-color: yellow;"> <font style="background-color: yellow;">Me</font></font><font style="background-color: yellow;"> I and</font></strike> <font style="background-color: yellow;">My wife and I</font> are so happy now because we are living our time together...
I don't want to go to work after this holiday!
My Vacation (Holiday)
For the two first weeks of August, I'm on vacation (holiday)! I'm very happy because my wife and I traveled to Trieste for five days. In Trieste we walked a lot to saw Miramare's castle, Unità's Square, San Giusto's castle and naturally, barcolana. Barcolana is public beach near the center of the city, and is very good for snorkeling.
When we returned home, we watched films, walked a lot, visited few super malls.
So, my question is:
Why do I have to work every day, and not live my
life with my family like on this vacation (holiday)? My wife and I are so happy
now, because we are spending our time together.
I don't want to go to work after this vacation (holiday)!

Though you can use holiday in American English we would say "vacation" as "holiday" in American English would refer to a federal or state recognized holiday in the US.
