My reasons for learning English
I like to meet new people and learn about different cultures.
The other reason, is because after my mom pass away, I have been struggle with anxiety and hard thoughts. So, English studies has been helped me a lot to put down my anxiety.
I love to read books, and watch movies and I love too heard music all in English. Before be into English studies I used to waste a lot of time searching for a translation of everything, and it is so limited.
Plus, English is the third language most talk in the word, and have a lot of information to learn.
So, when I read some idea in a book, or when I heard something in the news, I building one idea about. But, if I don´t have any idea about the language is difficult or impossible, don´t?

1. More natural: I like meeting new people and learning about...
2. The grammatically correct structure is: "the reason is that..." even though you sometimes hear people (even Anglophones) say "reason...because".
3. Same comment as [1] about the "xx-ing" form sounding more natural.
4. Refers to "before", so you need the past here.
5. Better: "forming an idea".
