Memory transplant
It scares how fast the science and medicine is advancing. A recent study by some neurobiologist shows that it is possible to transplant the memory from the nervous system of one snail to another one.
To prove that the memory transplant was successful, they "trained" the first snail by giving him little electrical shocks. After repeating the same procedure over a over the snail started to react to the electric shocks by contracting himself. That help the snails to protect themselves from the harm. Once the snail learned how to react against the electric shock the researchers extracted the RNA from that snail and transplanted it to another snail. After that the second snail presented the same behavior from the first electric shock.
The researchers said that this is a great advance to alliviate the effects of diseases like Alzheimer or post traumatic stress disorder. This kind of experiments seem from a science fiction film; while i was writing this i was imagining myself being transplanted a memory of a polyglot... Meanwhile I will keep writing my daily journals to improve my English. See you tomorrow Italki community!
