The First Impression The first impressions sometimes are not adequate. Too many times we judge the people without know them, only for their physical look, their possessions or by how much nice or similar they are with us. But, What brings us to focus on certain people?. An study that I read mention that we looking in the rest of people, our own charasteristics and it is the reason we feel attracted to form friendly or love relationships with similar persons. Has happened there are persons who do not feel comfortable when they know each other at first time, however when they have to work, to study, etc. they become in friend over time. It's because even when they didn't believed to have any affinity at beginning, it turns out that they had charasteristics, likes or both of them, similar or even equals. Has it happened to you?

The First Impression

First impressions are sometimes unreliable. Too often we judge the people by their physical appearance, their possessions or by how  similar they are to us without really knowing them. But, what brings us to focus on certain people? A study (that) I read stated that we look for our own characteristics in other people, and this is the reason we are attracted to forming friendly or romantic relationships with similar people. It has happened that there have been individuals who did not feel comfortable when meeting each other for the first time, however when they had to work or study together, etc. they became friends over time. It's because even when they didn't believe they had any affinity towards the other person at the beginning, it turns out that they actually did have some characteristics in common. Has this ever happened to you?

Sometimes the first impression is not adequate. Too many a times we judge  people by  their physical looks, their possessions or by how  nice they behave towards  us without actually knowing them. But what brings us to focus on certain people? A study that I read mentioned that we are trying to find  our own charasteristics in other people and this is the reason we feel attracted ,  become friendly or even fall in love. Has it ever happened that there were people with whom you did not feel comfortable with at first , however as you  worked or  studied together you became friends over a period of time. This is  because even though you lacked  affinity at the  beginning, it turned out that they had charasteristics  similar or same as yours. Has this happened to you?

No, never! I think I'm a good judge of character and I trust my instincts :D The verb "conocer" has two different English translations: "to know" and "to meet." E.g. ¿Conoces a María? = Do you know María? // Sí, la conocí en el reunión. = Yes, I met her at the meeting. ¿Desde cuándo se conoces? = How long have you known each other? // Nos conocimos en Londres hace diez años. = We met each other in London 10 years ago. Espero haberte ayudado.
