Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) is the capital of India's West Bengal state. Founded as an East India Company trading post, it was India's capital under the British Raj from 1773–1911. Today it’s known for its grand colonial architecture, art galleries and cultural festivals. I have been living here from past 11 years and now it has became my 2nd home. Teenage life to adulthood I have faced many ups and downs and learned many thing. Stepping out from my hometown helped me a lot to overcome my fear of living alone. I made many friends who are from different region and cultures. This interactions made me realize that we can explore the world just by having conversation with each other.
