I came across an interesting article online about diet to live long and healthy. I would like to share some of the interesting points here.
A lifespan of a century has become the norm in this day and age and a healthy lifespan has been attracting more attraction than ever. Your lifestyle such as diet, exercise, sleep and daily activities have a big affect on what you live healthy when you get old. In the case of Japanese, men's average lifespan is 81 years old, women's 87 years old. On the flip side, regarding the health lifespan, men's and women's are 72 and 75, respectively. That means that they have to spend their life having some healthy problems over 10 years. That's why it is very important key how we should increase healthy lifespan to make those 10 years close to 0. Human's body generally decreases muscle strength and bone density in their 40s. Those accelerates like wildfire when we turn 70. The body change due to getting aged has big differences according to each individual as you get elder. The article said 70 is at crossroad if you still can move healthy. There are technical terms such as "Frailty" and "Sarcopenia" in the medical and healthy field. Both are not disease, but they can lead to a situation that affects healthy lifespan because you have pneumonia when you develop a cold causes or you are confined to bed when you face-plant. These are caused by lack of nutrients like protein and being out of shape. That's why we need to eat meat, fish and beans which are rich in protein. The experts in the article said that protein comes first for the second life generations rather than veggies come first.
Honestly, I'm not a big fan of cooking. However, I can make the most of microwave cooker and even I can cook many different of meal such as boiled vegetables, pasta and grilled fish. So, I guess now is good timing to start learning how to cook.

I came across an interesting online article about diet and how to live a long, healthy life. I would like to share some of the key points here. A lifespan of around a century is becoming more common in this day and age, and maintaining a healthy lifespan has been attracting more attention than ever.
Our lifestyle, such as diet, exercise, sleep, and daily habits, has a big effect on how healthy we are as we get older. In Japan, the average lifespan for men is 81 years, and for women it is 87. On the other hand, the average healthy lifespan is 72 for men and 75 for women. This means that many people may spend more than 10 years of their life dealing with health problems. That is why it is very important to think about how we can extend our healthy lifespan and reduce those unhealthy years as much as possible.
In general, muscle strength and bone density begin to decline from around our 40s, and this process can accelerate rapidly after the age of 70. The changes that come with ageing vary greatly from person to person. The article suggested that around 70 years old is something of a turning point in terms of whether a person can still remain physically active and healthy.
There are medical terms such as “frailty” and “sarcopenia.” Although they are not diseases themselves, they can lead to serious health issues and reduce quality of life. These conditions are often caused by a lack of nutrients such as protein and by being physically inactive. That is why it is important to eat foods such as meat, fish, and beans, which are rich in protein. The experts in the article also suggested that, for later life, protein should come first rather than vegetables.
Honestly, I am not a big fan of cooking. However, I can make use of a microwave, and I can prepare a variety of simple meals such as boiled vegetables, pasta, and grilled fish. So I think now is a good time to start learning how to cook.
