Hello everyone,
In the 1948 movie Shanghai Chest there is a scene Judge Armstrong's secretary talks to Police Lieutenant Ruark on the phone.
- You sure it wasn't Judge Armstrong who answered, Miss Powers?
- No, it wasn't the judge. The voice sounded familiar, but the conversation was so short that I couldn't be sure who it was.
- OK, I'll take a run out there.
- I'll go ride there myself.
I'm not sure about the last phrase the secretary said.
Did I hear it correctly? Is "I'll go ride there myself" what she said?

The scene in question starts at 3.48
Thank you.

Hello Michael,
The secretary actually says, "I'll go right out there myself." This is clearer than "I'll go ride there myself" and makes more sense in context.
You can verify it by watching the scene starting at 3:48 here.
hope this helps,
all the best
