You hand is your whole hand, from your wrist to the end of your fingertip basically. Hand covers both the front and back of your hand.
Palm is the underside of your hand, so there is a slight difference

Your hand is the part of your body at the end of your arm, including your fingers and thumb, that you use to hold things.(the red part)
But your palm is the inside surface of your hand, in which you hold things.(the blue part)
